An Apple a Day

I found these perfect little gala apples at the store the other day, and couldn't resist. Apples are one of Jane's favorite fruits: she loves to eat them whole, peeled, right to the seeds in the center. What kind of blessed time and place is this that we can eat good, fresh apples in the middle of winter? It's nice that even when it's cold and dark, we can reach to warmer months through taste.

I love Gala apples. They're my favs. The boys love 'em as well. Whenever they manage to climb up on the table when my back is turned they'll pull an apple out of the bowl and take a bite. Sometimes they finish the whole thing. Other times I am left with five or so apples with tiny bite marks in them.

gotta love the tiny bite marks in many pieces of fruit. or the rejected bits of carrot that make it back into the bag with the other baby carrots...

Beautiful! I tried my hand at making Thai food the other day and Tyler and I talked about you and Brad over it. I remembered you had a cooking blog so I came to see if you had any of your favorite Thai recipes here. Looks like you better add a few for us...:)

Secondly, I didn't know you liked food and to cook so. We are two peas in a pod although my pod comes with wheat. Can't wait to explore this cooking blog more.
